Tuvalu people aren't going to be washed away by rising sea levels. They are more likely to be removed by a comet splashdown in the Pacific, which will wash away a lot more besides them, depending on the size and location, including Los Angeles.

The greenhouse effect is a load of nonsense. There's no sea level rise. CO2 is good. Hooray for George Bush telling the Kyoto Krowd to take a hike.

The main reason the Tuvalans want to come to NZ is that they will be able to collect huge welfare payments, be given nice houses and join a modern economy. Why don't they apply for residency in Philippines or Vietnam? They are almost as close as New Zealand. Fiji is even closer. They could go there. Or how about Papua New Guinea?

New Zealanders are stupid do-gooders and think they can take in the whole world and give them a New Zealand welfare way of life. The productive are leaving and the bludgers are arriving and breeding. The local bludgers are breeding too - the more babies they have, the more money they get and the more child abuse and murder we get.
