Cos,
It's so good to see you!
We have two Feynman's in our bookcase-- Surely You're Joking and What Do You Care What Other People Think?, but I've read neither.

CW considers him the greatest mind in the world at the moment and bounced around the room all excited about how he had understood quantum physics for the first time from him. He says, "Mom even you might understand this book, besides, he's just really funny."
So I have gotten out Surely You're Joking and read the first chapter and it IS good. So far.
BUt right now he's only 12 in it and has only set a wastebasket on fire and fixed things with rubber bands; if it gets more complicated, I'm probably in trouble.

I think you and CW would get along so well. I feel sorry for him that he has two such scientifically ignorant parents. He is currently working with something called the Monte Carlo code trying to apply it to speech in his AI work on VIrgil the RIce Robot. He tried to tell me about it, and all I could ask was, does it have something to do with gambling?
