You don't seem to understand that Mr. Fleckenstein puts the lie to the Dems constant refrain that the Reps are going to rob the Social Security "trust fund". There is no trust fund to rob, and hasn't been for many years. The transition to some "private" investments in the form of a percentage of SS contributions is the start of a collective trust fund however. This will tend to force lower Fed expenditures by reducing the SS "revenues" to which they have access.
