>Oh sure they care dearly about those left that they don't execute!
Vic, if you want to talk about democracy, and execution...then lets talk about America's super backed, the women's republic of Saudi Arabia.
If a man accuses his wife of infidelity they'll cut off her head.
Btw
Don't take your wife there unless she wears a black vail from head to toe, or they'll arrest her, and put her in
jail for 100 years!
Next we'll talk about the democratic republic of Iraq.
Oh! please don't let her drive a car...that's another 50 years in jail!

>> thousands this yr alone is not "a few people" <<

so what, there aren't a "few" people in china. there are almost 5 times as many people there.

>> And that's a rather cavalier attitude. <<

we execute people here in the states. we are somehow better because it is a lower percentage? they are probably just more efficient. it's such a hassle to get executed here.

>> I assume you didn't know any of them. or any othe thousands of other Chinese who are tortured for their beliefs. <<

yeah well it happens everywhere around the world. there is nothing i can do about it. what's your point?

>> Oh sure they care dearly about those left that they don't execute! <<

you know i don't really see the point in arguing about human rights issues with regards to china. everyone admits that they are not perfect, and neither are we for that matter. i'm more interested in focusing on the economic reforms in china that are going to have ramifications around the world.
