the deer like to eat almost anything that's planted.
I live near Stevens Creek. We get raccoons. They come up through the storm drains from the creek. Several years ago they found my corn patch. I finally gave up growing corn because they got it ALL!

And this is in the heart of Silicon Valley- -as urban (well, suburban, maybe) as you get.

Where's my rifle?
