Jill, Your post was very well written. Your mention of the fires in Los Alamos last year is the first time I’ve heard that story about them being so close to the plutonium bunkers. What a frightening thought. I have never studied economic theory but there is someone in my family that stopped college with a masters degree and with only a few hours away from a PhD in business finance so I have had the benefit of hundreds of hours of discussion on the subject with him. His claim is that our economy runs in 7-year cycles on average ending with a recession of some magnitude at the end of each cycle. I’ve never asked him why.
