That statement is so erroneous.Are you aware that the current Israeli population includes over one million Israeli Arabs,or 20% of the population? Are you aware that Palestinians living in East Jerusalem when polled on whether they would want to live under Israeli rule or Palestinian rule prefered Israeli rule? Israel wants peace,and under Barak was willing to give up almost all the territories in exchange. Where is the "mutual" destruction that you think the Israelis want? Manny T.

* OT * Paul, let me start by saying that I do not have hatred for anyone... absolutely no one... I have deep frustrations seeing people on both sides lose their lives in basically what amounts to a power struggle... a struggle that doesn't seem to have an acceptable feasible end... and seeing that world powers completely slanted to one side... having said this, I think that the best solution is to have all of Palestine under UN rule whereby Jews, Christians and Muslims can live and worship in peace... notice that I referred to religions... Jerusalem is Holly to Jews, Christians as well as Muslims... a form of government can be created by free elections under UN auspices to represent the current population without deliberate efforts to slant the balance to one side by massive immigration like what has happened in the past (migration of Russian Jews, Ethiopian Jews,...) well, this is my last post on this because I realize that the main objective of this thread is stock trading and not a political forum... regards amein
