That was exactly my point. Which was my explanation as to why I am not currently invested in AMD.

That's not true. "Winning" a price war is often a pyrrhic victory, but the winner is the one that increases market share - that's the whole point of a price war.

And AMD has hugely increased its share over the past year, as well as expanding into new segments.
