That's probably as a good a prognostication as any.

There are (at least) two perspectives, one that claims y'aint seen nothin' yet, that things are not REALLY bad yet and another that claims things are indeed REALLY bad and that we're scraping along the bottom right now. The former claims there's too much optimism surrounding the corporate news while the latter see everyone pushing the the recovery date further and further into the future as a sign of a current bottom.

Chose your guess.

The 'scraping the bottom' view may have a slight advantage since the most well known proponent of this accurately timed his call of the peak last year. While the response to the call this year was no where near as ferocious as in 2000, it was sufficiently negative to convince many folks that, once again, he may have it right.
