Four Seasons Hotel is upscale and in the heart of the city. One of my best freinds from here got married there last year. I remember the lobby was real grande and there were chandeliers everywhere. The Georgian Room was exquisite.

There is also a Travel Lodge for the frugal right across from EMP at the Seattle Center, take the monorail downtown, real easy. Also, city buses are free in the downtown area from the Westin to Pioneer Square.
