I would imagine we would get a pretty good initial pop up since the past surprise rate cuts resulted in such action. Of course afterwards, we would probably leak back down a bit as everyone wondered what AG knew that they didn't know. This is for a 1/4 point cut.

A 50 cut would probably induce panic as everyone figured there must be an asteroid headed for Wall Street or something that only Greenspan knows about. -gggg-

At this juncture though, I don't think rate cuts mean a whole lot and we need to see some of the earlier ones take effect. AG is running out of ammo soon unless he wants to be where Japan is and be near zero.

Speaking of Japan, they don't look like they are feeling real spunky tonight....
