You have a wood frame on each side. One frame is nailed in solid. The other frame, I take it, has come out. The permanent frame is what you put the glass against. Then you tack in the glass with glaziers points like securing a picture in a frame. Add the putty and nail the other frame back in.

It is the wood frame that comes out. You have totally lost me. Do instructions come with the box, or whatever these points come in?
