Not sure if it is a positive divergence or a negative one. We can't seem to agree on if we recieved a hard sell signal or not on our indicator. It is a bit complicated and leaves room for some interpretation and this time it is in a grey zone.

All I know is the FA says we should go down and the NYSE which represents more stocks evenly than the DOW or NAS has a bearish wedge. As Don would say, that ain't good. -g-

The SPX and OEX are right smack dab in the middle so I don't know. I am just holding my straddle and waiting this out until things gets sorted out.

Japan usually is in bounce mode by now and is not looking good thus far tonight...

Japan Nikkei 225 ^N225 12:54AM 11568.41 -339.98 -2.85%

Our own futures have also been declining all night but of course they usually ramp them back up around 5-6 AM so it is a bit early to worry. As of right now we are down 8 on the S&P and down 24 on the NDX. I show GLOBEX triggers with a slight negative bias but nothing major, only about a point or so.

Good Luck,

Lee
