Figures, right about the time Don and I will have buy signals, the street might be disappointed if AG doesn't surprise us with a rate cut. I need to check the earnings releases also as I think there are a cluster of important ones around the 27th also.

Did you read the clown thread today. Someone posted a good article from Pat Buchanon that stated Americans spent more money than they made by a margin of 7 Billion dollars which was some ridiculous proportion of total national GDP. Now that is what I call debt!!! I hope your new Money market is a government secured one. The loss of a half percentage point or so for being able to sleep at night is worth it IMO. On the other hand, I read an article this weekend that pointed out that the banks have pawned off most of their risky loans in the form of Bond offerings which were packaged up and made to look like "safe" investments and sold to little old ladies on Social Security so the banks may be safe now again. How nice of them.
