Oil like any other commodity is in oversupply and will continue to be in oversupply for many years to come. Thus energy related plays are at risk just like technology. Look at the report from Arch Coal last week as an example.

Overproduction effects the commodities just like anything else, even cotton, coffee,gold, silver (all in big slumps).

I would wait to see if the oil and oil service stocks hold their lows on the next reaction before buying. The OSX when it made its big bottom a few years ago tested the lows several times before a sustainable rally began.
