TransMeta paid AMD $13.6 Million - in TransMeta STOCK - when TransMeta Stock was about $15/share.

AMD is now holding TransMeta stock worth 1/5 of that - or about $2.72 Million.

It is interesting.

Opinions on TMTA vary so greatly...some expect it to change the notebook business completely while others think its ready to go away. Its hard to get a read.
