All very reasonable, your thoughts on your trade, especially given your reading of the action at the end of the last week. Sorry if I seemed to be singling you out for criticism - I was more interested in thinking through the falling wedge situation. However, though it's easy to say this after a down day like today, a somewhat similar argument (relatively low risk short entry, closer to upper boundary rather than lower) could have been made for entering short positions.
