The market is heading up at the open but not ANAD:

biz.yahoo.com

7:24AM Anadigics (ANAD) 21.00: Reports a Q2 loss of $0.48 a share (excluding charges), 4 cents wider than the -$0.44 consensus estimate. Net sales tumbled 60% to $18.9 mln and were off 34% from Q1. Company expects Q3 revenues to decline to $15.5 mln, with an EPS loss of $0.55 (mean estimates $20 mln and -$0.36).

8:50AM: A bit of a lull near the highs, the pre-market indicators have edged slightly higher again. Currently the S&P futures are trading 6 points above fair value while the Nasdaq 100 futures are 27 points above fair value. The Cisco upgrade and the better than expected earnings from Check Point Software have underpinned the tech sector with the McDonald's upgrade by Merrill Lynch bolstering the large caps. Oil related shares could be in play today as crude oil prices have rising in response to speculation that OPEC will move to cut production within the next two weeks.
