Re: I've seen him come up with whoppers when it comes to performance comparisons

How about the one where Intel labels a processor that reads in an instruction every other clock at the full speed of the clock?

Pretty hilarious, eh?

A lot like the Apple 33/66MHZ stunt they tried to pull with a chip that operated the same way.

Remember how funny we all thought it was that they tried to compare it to Intel's 66mhz chip that could pull in an instruction on every clock?

"But, internally, it runs off the cache at 66MHZ" claimed Steve Jobs. What a lot of hoey, eh?

Looks like Intel learned something from Apple on that one, doesn't it?
