Tech specs are only part of the solution. In the end the billion dollar question is can AMD make money pushing chips out of the door at the same price/performance/mindshare level as Intel? My guess is....... No. I am sure they can do it, but profitably????,,, and at what margins and volume? I am operating my venture independant of .net, but .net is superior to it's commercial competitors. For one, it exists - nobody else can say that. Java is a disappointmemt, except for some server side implementations.
