Rich,

I have a 12 year old much the same way. She does not seem overly interested in boys yet...but tonight when we were out to dinner, some guy was seriously checking her out. I wanted to put a sign on her back that says......I am only 12 years old. Thought better of it, as not to draw anymore attention to her back side.

My 12 year old daughter is doing so well at her boarding school....<smile>

She wasn't a problem earlier...but academics, behaviour, maturity and patience...everything has improved.....and now she's great with the little ones too...almost no fighting <g>

One of the best things they taught her was - listening to authority. She no longer argues <which used to drive me nuts>, she may softly discuss, rarely sulks now <in fact hasn't sulked since she's been home>....THAT's a major change....

We tried pulling her out to bring her back this year, partly due to Nasdaq troubles, her school waived the entire tuition fee in order to retain her!!! <smile> She loves it there anyway....and is home every month for a week.....so its one more year of dorm for her in Sept....<smile>

Last summer she drove me nuts during the summer holidays...this year you can tell I'm a happy mom !!!! LOL
