Yes, Jeff, part of the point I was hoping to make. I suspected the restrictions would include mandatory inspections of firearms (ala Switzerland, although as you and I know these weapons belong to the Swiss Government) in the home, a proposition that you and I might have to endure but not the criminal (one, he would not admit to having firearms and two, if he did he would be violating his fifth amendment rights). Also, unless inspections were without warning, even the irresponsible could manage to pass, hardly an effort that could be expected to make any impact except on our feelings and freedoms. Anyway, there was no answer forthcoming.
