10:59 ET Xbox Breakdown : Noticing heavy selling in interactive software names such as THQ Inc (THQI -7.75), Activision (ATVI -2.75), Electronic Arts (ERTS -2.2), as well as graphics chip maker NVIDIA (NVDA -5.6). Common thread is that each is a Microsoft Xbox supplier. Not sure at this time what exactly is responsible for the decline.

11:28 ET Xbox Breakdown : --Update-- Unable to find anything concrete on what is behind the sell off in Xbox names. One potential catalyst is Forbes article discussing alliance between PlayStation maker Sony and AOL, Cisco, Sun Micro, IBM to promote open standards for video and games over high-speed networks; goal is to prevent Microsoft from gaining a foothold in broadband entertainment. And, of course, the most obvious rumor of a possible Xbox delay also is beginning to make the rounds.
