Neo, this is not really an area of special interest to me, but I am aware of some of the work you have posted. I take a more agnostic view of the process. Prayer is a specific approach to mental focus. It is meditation. In the act of meditation you are changing your physiology, your brain chemistry. You are deliberately tuning your brain waves to a specific pattern, or a pattern of patterns. That this act can effect others reinforces the notion that we are all communicating with each other at all times on some level, but a belief in God may be completely irrelevant.

Neo,

I, personally, know of a person that contracted HIV from a dirty needle, which elevated into AIDS but, he was surrounded by people that prayed for him on a regular basis, and he, himself, had embraced the Lord Jesus as his Savior. IMO, as a result, he was able to live over twice the usual length of time predicted at the time of diagnosis, and for most of those years, he lived in relative good health. God blessed him, and he is with Him now.
