BTW, the German RC1 for Windows XP seems to be delayed as well. It got a mail from Microsoft that it won't ship until July, 27th. I also read that there was a new, serious security hole discovered which would enable macro viruses to bascially destroy an XP installation (even if they are run by users without administrator rights). I wonder how long it will take Microsoft to fix this...

Peter, the persistent XP-only rumors about nForce are disturbing. I wonder if this is part of some licensing deal with Microsoft to set pieces of the x-box work free or a marketing deal of some sort. I suppose it's possible that XP drivers are incompatible with win2k in the Microsoft NT version tradition, though that certainly won't help XP early uptake. It certainly isn't good for AMD, at any rate
