my personal opinion (based mostly on readin the Wash Post and listening to NPR). But the economy is not going to turn around till next year. The Bush tax plan is going to take us back to deficit spending. There will be no surplus. Medicare and Soc Security are at risk again. If medicare is in trouble so is biotech. Bush will want to spend $ on military but won't have the money after he spends it on star wars. There will therefore be some star wars winners, some of which will be military companies.

I suspect we should all get used to short selling for most of the next year.
