Neo, I realize that many of the Jews were disappointed that the Jesus, as the Messiah, was not the avenging Messiah that they were expecting. I know Paul went to Rome to further the Christian movement there, but do not believe there were actual bishops in his time. With all due respect, I believe that designation was given to him posthumously by the early Catholic church. As you probably have heard me say, I have many friends that worship in the Catholic denomination of Christianity, but do not care for Vatican City at all. ~;=;o --haqi
