Yeah, but only 5 ruled in such a way as to guarantee the presidency to Bush, and that is the matter of suspicion. Still, the prima facie case is very weak. 7 admitted that there was an equity problem, and the observation of the 5 that the legislature gets to determine the period of contest, and that equity considerations could not be satisfied in the time remaining, was precisely right........

The day after the decision, the RNC chairman was being interviewed by an empty-headed MSNBC info-babe. He made the mistake of mentioning that FACT that the FL SC decision had been overturned by SEVEN justices. She practically threatened to slap him around if he again engaged in the official left wing media heresy that the decision was anything but 5-4.

Two lessons to be learned from this:

1) The left wing bias of the networks is so second-nature they don't even understand that they are diseased.

2) The Democrat's denial of their fraudulent attempt to steal the 2000 election is not just a smokescreen. It is a radical and fanatical attempt to revise history, even despite the fact that they carelessly allowed much of the commission of this crime to be documented by television.

Despite it all, the USSC overturned the provincialist Fl SC 7-2, and that will remain in history forever. The coming Supreme Court fights, led by Leahy and Chuckie Schmuck, will contribute to the final downfall of radical Marxian control of the Democratic party in 2002 and 2004.

This is the oldest continually-existing political party in the history of the free world. It is long past time that it was relieved of the totalitarian influence that has strangled it since 1970...
