IMO, This is true, but too pat. The market doesn't know how to value companies growing at triple digits; and it doesn't know how to deal with companies with high secular growth rates (Siebel is a good example) which are in temporary slowdowns.

From Briefing tonight: ONI Systems (ONIS) 22.54 +1.07: -- Update -- Reports Q2 loss of $0.05, in line with the First Call consensus; revenues rose 51% sequentially to $68.2 mln vs Multex consensus of $55 mln; company also raises guidance for Q3 to $75-80 mln from $60-70 mln, and for FY01 to $275-285 mln from prior guidance of $245-255 mln. Expects to breakeven on a pro-forma basis by Q4; see press release.
