People who think as you do are a minority in this country, and since everyone who does not think as you do is a marxist pig

Coupling this earlier quote with your later one regards the pope I offer an observation from Ayn Rand. She felt that Capitalism represented the best opportunity for the individual to flourish and for individual rights to flourish. She stated that Capitalism has 2 enemies and they are the Church And the State. Both have exhibited the following:
1) they are willing to use violence to compel all to follow their belief.
2) they both preach altruism and that one must live for the greater good.
3) both are afraid of the mind of an individual

I personally have no problem with socialism, religion or communism as long as I am not forced to join their group. I prefer to live as an individual free to pursue my own selfish interest without committing violence in the process. I do not wish to be a serf beholden to any leader or so-called greater good.

Sadly I find the last place on the earth where the individual is valued turning away from the course and moving to the compulsory group.
