Here's the thing: The only thing that matters IS eVWAP volume. Period. eVWAP volume = revenue. Revenue is the solution to virtually all of this company's current problems. The lack of eVWAP volume has hurt the company and its stock price, and the presence of eVWAP volume will help the company and its stock price. I really think it is that simple. I must admit, though, it is interesting to watch your wheels spin when the system has a day like today, a day which validates everything you have been arguing against for 4 months now. In December, 2000, the stock was well under $1.00 for several weeks and though you had not yet arrived, there were plenty of posters warning about all time lows, delisting, dilution, and the fact that the bottom had irreversibly fallen out of the stock. Within a matter of weeks (in Mid-January), it printed $2.97. For no apparent reason -- just a few large buyers, and the major seller at that point (RGC, making room for more conversions) was cleared out. Technically, it made some sense - the price deterioration leading up to the sub-$1.00 prices had occurred on low daily trading volumes, the major seller was cleared out, and some substantial buying drove up the price. Since that 2.97print, we have been treated to another 5-6 months of slow price deterioration on low volume -- few major sellers, even fewer buyers. If there had been major selling, we would be at a much lower price today. If there were any serious buying, we would be at a higher price. As it is, the imbalance of sellers to buyers has caused price deterioration. But the indeniably low volume of trading in ASTN speaks volumes to what is really happening here. IMO, what will attract buyers, and put an end to this stock price deterioration, is steady 5-10+ million share days (day in and day out) on eVWAP. That level of volume will, IMO, translate into profitability, an end to the bleeding, and validate what is an emerging belief among present stockholders -- that there is a broader acceptance of the system by customers underway. If you see it differently, that's certainly your prerogative. Have a great day! MST
