Would you not consider the bearish sentiment among investors to be a good contrarian indicator? (see my last post with the sentiment article) Nasdaq short interest is going to probably hit another high later this week when the July data is released ..and June data indicates insider selling lowest since October 98 in technology stocks. NYSE short interest hit a record in July. That may limit the nearterm downside at current levels. Not a strong case for upside either but may still be worth a shot with tight stops. What is your short term take on the Nasdaq?
