There's a great book out there called "A Random Walk Down Wall Street" that I had to read in college in the mid '70's. I don't remember the author but as far as I recall there's a lot of comparisons to be made in the markets of today then with many of the speculative markets in the past. Everyone who invests in the markets should be made to read this book. And it's not too long, you can finish it in one evening. In fact, I want to read it again. I wonder if it's available at Amazon?? <gg>
