Brian, re book to bill for the chip producers, as I recall, the SIA somehow didn't trust the way the companies reported their chips sales, and also the data was only for North American companies. I'm also not sure if the ship data was just what was shipped into the Americas, or if it included Europe, Asia, etc. It was just too much of a partial thing for the SIA and they felt it wasn't worth it. Not sure if I remember these right, or if even they were the prime reasons.
