They control the high-vote shares, and don't need to buy. I think it's misleading to say "The Spragues". The credibility was never with Steve Sprague and I personally never thought Peter J Sprague had it either. The credibility was with his father's generation.

Sounds highly unlikely to me, although the very unlikeliness makes it an interesting question. Do you see some indication that leads you to this idea, or is it just speculation?
