Lee Lichterman III,
A similar object was observed in Hershey, Pennsylvania, very bright, meteor like, left a high contrail, no sonic boom.
I just caught a glimpse, friend saw the whole thing, time matches reports on cnn:

cnn.com

We didn't hear sonic boom but were inside a building....

Reminded me a bit of movie "Final Impact"

ggg,

Roebear
