If high aydis's indicate bearishness, then for them to stay high either clx has to stay high or clxpp has to be too low. (aydis=clx-clxpp) It looks like clxpp is too low and has not turned in the plus direction. Which would say that there arent many stocks that have had small price changes from negative to postive (clxpp=vol/price change) to overcome previous negative trends. Or, I guess, the volume associated with the neg to pos price changes could be small. In any event, this action I'm seeing seems radically different than anything in past couple of months.

What are the components of your sentosc again Tom? I believe clx or aydis was one of them? Tanks.

tom drake...

you had mentioned your stochastic oscillator to me before and i remember you using a 4,1 %K and a 3 wtd %D. this is going to sound like a very stupid question, but i'm wondering if you can explain the 1 and the 3 wtd to me.

i understand how to calculate a stochastic and that 4 is the number of periods used to calculate the highs and lows of the range and the 3 is a 3 day moving average of the %K, but what does the 1 signify and what does the wtd mean?

i just wanted to play around with it. thanks again.
