Heinz, be contrarian to contrarian <GGG> VSH, AVX can serve as examples

The market does not behave like there are to many bulls, aside this is a fundamental call, based on high tech equipment life span. First big overhaul was mid 1999 due to the imposed and well advertised Y2K issue.

Hardrives and memory start to fail after about 3 years max 5 so instead of changing hard drive they change the box. Also CRT's will start to be changed due to health related awareness and also age. This includes telecom gear and servers.

Also the "last mile" will start to get more attention and the base will expand.

Further lower energy prices will bring marginal buyers back to market - e.g. developing countries including China and India. Their presence will be felt in about 3 to 6 months and then will be to late to "accumulate"

All in all for the "market" I foresee a 6 to 10% rise to year end and 10 to 15% next year no fire works, just old type of stock advances, therefore the first 5% are important

This company designs, manufactures, markets & services a line equipment primarily used by manufacturers in the data storage, optical telecommunications and semiconductor industries. For the FY ended 12/31/00, revenues rose 17% to $386.7M. Net income before accounting change fell 98% to $502K. Revenues reflect a growth in Process Equipment and Metrology sales. Net income suffered from lower margins due to inventory write-offs and $17.9M in special charges.

Name this company with a PE of 127 and that has, apparently, some accounting questions to answer! (They report on the 27th!)

I see a complete collapse ahead to this:
