Oh thanks. That is beautiful. I had somehow combined that with the stuff Paul said in 1Corinthians 8;1,7-13 and 1Corinthians 10:23-31. Romans 14:2-6 and finally in Romans 14:13-17 Paul came right up to the edge of saying that but not exactly.

I looked this stuff up tonight because I thought it (the concern for what comes out of the mouth) was a Paul statement. Well no body ever accused me of being a Bible scholar.

The man didn't know what he was talking about. It is the mind, not the tongue that creates the concepts of good and evil. The tongue is superfluous. If yours is cut out you can always sign, or carry large signs.

Of course, back in those primitive days filled with mindless tradition and voluminous ignorance, they didn't even know what the human mind was, or where it resided.

I really believe that William Shakespeare often had more and better insight into the human psyche than some of the (raving) apostles.
