I don't fathom how you can twist that out of those words even as they stand alone. In that earlier in this statement the Pope praises America as the place the stood against Godless Marxism and Godless Nazism the conclusion your derive seems even more twisted.

Nope. And I would strongly advise that you not try to put your microscopic mind in the same region as that of JPII. The story should have been headlined:

HINTS THAT AMERICA SHOULD LEAD THE WAY
