Conference call, Bezos: "Amazon provides *five* platform solutions, traffic, big platform solutions, old stuff, blah, blah".

Yeap, but do you make money on any of them? Can you sell books at a decent profit $1.4 billion is sales later?

If not, why not? And how exactly does having five platform solutions help you achieve a decent profit selling books?

Further after a whole quarter of cuts and firings the savings are minimal compared to last quarter. Is that the best you can do?
