Hi bob, I enjoyed your post on how you learned to invest ; I have asked you before how you are able to feel so confident on the stock price vs semi cycle given the very high usual paramaters of bottom values for the semis; granted no one gets the bottom and being in the ballpark is very good timing for these stocks; but the valuations and the lack of contrary sentiment in the market are very troubling to me ; the public also had its bender in the bubble and has run to mutual funds and is not going to rush back in; now there is contorvesy as to when we will see the bottom of bookings for this cycle; so what did you teacher say about the lack of fear; it seems like people have tuned out or are stiil sobering up and are not yet afraid; maybe we are reaching this point now; but so many sentiment indicators now show flat; that instead of the fat lady , I have dreams of chicken little-- and wake up in a sweat; still waiting, and you will probably be right and Ill watch applied double as my money market fund rate decreases<G> rs
