More than 100,000 subscribers currently use Next Level's VDSL services worldwide. Next Level's platform allows telecommunications companies to deliver between four and five times greater bandwidth to business and residential subscribers than traditional DSL services over their existing twisted-pair copper wire. Next Level is working to add significant additional capabilities and cost-saving features, and will be making further product announcements later this year. Didn't @Home have 100k before they even went public? I can't remember. Gee, at 4-5 times the bandwidth of regular DSL it might even be as fast as my cable modem. I like your idea about selling Excite back to the Blue Mountain hippies.
