But just think maybe if ATHM had announced 100,000 total subscribers today the stock price would have risen by 41% today like these guys:

Next Level is the leader in providing a VDSL platform for telecommunication companies and their residential and business subscribers. More than 100,000 subscribers currently use Next Level's VDSL services worldwide. Next Level's platform allows telecommunications companies to deliver between four and five times greater bandwidth to business and residential subscribers than traditional DSL services over their existing twisted-pair copper wire. Next Level is working to add significant additional capabilities and cost-saving features, and will be making further product announcements later this year.

Didn't @Home have 100k before they even went public? I can't remember. Gee, at 4-5 times the bandwidth of regular DSL it might even be as fast as my cable modem.

I like your idea about selling Excite back to the Blue Mountain hippies.

I thought they were going to do a 4:1 reverse split today.

After all that work-up nothing happened.

I guess the stock needs to get close to $1 before they do the split?

A lot of fund managers are not allowed to buy stocks under $5/share which, I suppose, is the reason to do the split to start with (also delisting occurs below $1/share).
