I thought it still had one from 27.52-27.69;earlier in the day it was 27.52-27.87 and it closed half of it.I could be wrong as I left just after the market closed yesterday and have yet to pull up a chart this morning.

MCD has a chance to become a "safe" play, IMHO; it's been rising steadily while the market's been dropping. I show it fairly valued at 27.50 on a 10-year historical trading/valuation history, but that's an approach that worries me a little as of late, since we may be entering a market period that may have nothing to do with the last 10 years. <ggg> I am long MCD, BTW.

Greenspan just dismissed deflation as a concern, FWIW.
