Hi Ian,

I work with the retail public daily in the car business.

Investors on SI would be appalled at the lack of savings the average American has. This was a shock to me as I grew up the son of a conservative banker.

Most people in my community look at a credit card as a short term raise in discretionary income that only subsides when they get capped out.A windfall like this unplanned rebate is a spending spree windfall. I really am serious about that. Heck I'm buying a new dell as soon as xp gets out.Roadrunner is being offered for the first time in what amounts to a year and a half wait for me.

I'm excited and looking forward to no longer waiting for a modem dial up. Add to that a black tower with a 2.0 mghz P 4 and I'm in hog heaven.I'm gonna spend $2000 just because the first 600 was a freebie.Oh yea the schedule says my check gets mailed Sept 3. Waiting to spend with baited breath.hehehe

Probably gonna go crazy and get a flat panel too!! Man I can't wait!!!

Bob
