SM, thanks. Bookmark the Board Directory: insighters.com It is a short-cut for slow speed users, but also gives an outline overview of the site.

To answer your question. . . .The Zones are like separate communities within themselves. . . each will have about 8 boards, their own alerts [as you can see unless using AOL, then you have to wait a few days]. . . their own Top Member Posts, etc. IT is quite a departure from way Raging Bull, Yahoo or Silicon Investor list their threads.

Insighters has Zones made up of a number of Boards. . .Boards made up of a number of Conferences and Conferences made up of a number of Topics. Once you understand that concept, I believe it will become easier for you.

The Zones are according to user interest. . . investing, trading, pennies, research, off-topic, scammies and the Market Street for those who study the markets in general. As we open more boards, the zones will make perfect sense. . . as will much of the other stuff. The Boards each specialize in a different trading or investing discipline. There are NO stock symbol boards on Insighters. . .for many reasons.

Anyway, that Board Directory is helpful for those who are disoriented, like yourself. Also, there is a free Orientation board. . orientation.insighters.com . . .specifically to help with the orientation of moving from the simple threaded bulletin boards to this more complex messaging system with its conferences, topics, paging, various types of chat rooms, etc.

The largest corporations in the world use this same system. . . and there were certainly feelings of disorientation for a while. But the advantages are said to be well worth the effort. And so far, I must agree.
