<Is Sulpizio the fall guy for a yet to be announced earning shortfall or is he leaving to take a CEO position elsewhere in lieu of the spin out change.>

13:14 ET QUALCOMM (QCOM) 57.98 -2.87 (-4.7%): -- Update -- CSFB sees limited impact to company's business model from departure of COO Richard Sulpizio, who firm believes is leaving to seek a CEO post at another company. With respect to plan to no longer separate the chip set business, CSFB feels that recent deals with NOK and similar vendors obviates the need for a spinoff. Firm maintains its Hold rating on the stock.
