Keep an eye out for a redefinition of the NDX..
(Ie) the kicking out of laggards and the bringing
in of new stocks.
Indexes re-build themselves in times like this,
if it were not for that even the S&P would be much
lower than it is.
It's the slight of hand Wall-Street uses to
convince the mullets that over the long term
stocks always go up.
( And that's why I don't buy stocks anymore ) <G>
Indexes are safer as they get re-made, I'm not
sure if Japan uses that same trick or not.

PS I don't understand why U.S. analcyst are so
concerned about The Nikkei, The average Japanese
makes more the lower it goes. The banks have been
into the "carry trade" for years, and it looks like they
have had a game plan to default all along.
