...and wasn't Sulpizio that said they would not sell the handset division and they eventually did. The point is the business changed and the sale of the division made sense. Did you want Paul (Q) to Guarantee all the handset people their jobs?

As I said yesterday, I believe Q needed Rich as President of the ENTIRE Q. IMHO, he will be hard to replace.

Yes I do remember...but I also remember that things were changing pretty quickly. Changing an employment decsion during times like that would seem to be understandable. Do you think QCOM should have kept the handset division?

It would be interesting in what way some employees think Paul is a poor leader. I ask this because the perspective on leadership depends a lot on who is doing the talking. I would think it prudent that until we can see his actual leadership style, it would be prudent not to bash the guy.
