Does he really have any real success or contribution to QCOM other than being DR J son ?>>>>>>>>>>>

As outlined in the QUALCOMM executive index, Dr. Paul Jacobs accomplishments are impressive imo.

1. Oversees QIS

2. Led QCP and the handset business was named, by Dataquest in 1999, second largest domestic digital handset supplier and third largest supplier overall domestically. QUALCOMM's "Thin Phone" named "Best Phone of 1999" by Time.

3. Initiated tech development and negotiated agreement that led to the formation of "Wireless Knowledge Inc."

4. Sits on board of Directors for Ignition Corp.

5. Led negotiations with Ford which resulted in
JV called "Wingcast."

6. CEO of QCP

7. Holds 25 patents in the area of wireless technology and devices

8. Received PH.D in electrical engineering. (This is the one that I'm most in AWE of).

Same old adage hold true: Time will tell

Best,
